Google logo now one image

I just noticed that the google logo is now only one image on their homepage. It used to be made up of three, one for the Goo, one for the g with its descender, and one for the le.

I wonder when that changed.

    Cool! Now if only they’d change the logo on the many localized Google sites…

    Well, it looks like .ca, .no, .de, and .fr have a single logo now, while .es still has 4 images plus some text. So I guess they’re making that change, if not all at once.
